Are you curious to know what XL stands for?
Really, many people, especially my friends, have been inquisitively asking me “what’s XL”. Well, I will tell you the whole story.

XL is a name introduced by my grandfather Jb. Ahammad Kutti Musliyaar, who was the Qazi at Vazhakkad Juma-masjid.

Long ago, he set up a watch repair center namely ‘Excellent Watch House’ near Vazhakkad Police station. Later, it renamed as ‘XL Watch House’ upon the suggestions from some of his well-wishers and my father Muhammed Kutty Musliyaar. The shop is now run by my uncle Muhammed Master.

At present, there are three watch shops and one fancy & footwear store with the name ‘XL’. As time passed, ‘XL’ acquired the status of our family’s surname. Now, most of my family members use ‘XL’ with their names. Naturally, I chose ‘XL’ for my web profile, too.

Now the XL enigma is revealed!
